Who is HHDC?

The Hip Hop Dance Club here at SMU has a simple motto. "We just want to dance". No expensive fees, no experience required.

Open Community Classes are every Tuesday, 7:30 - 8:30pm in Dedman Fitness Center (Studio 3, upstairs).

Make sure to join the mailing list to be alerted of cancellations and last minute changes! For those interested.... Dance Company rehearsals are Sundays from 12pm to ??? (3pm at the latest).

Welcome to 2010, HHDC

Just LOOK at all those names! Those are all new HHDC recruits! Thank you so much for the support because we love it, need it, and can't wait to dance with you.

We start FAST! Our first community class is CLUB DANCE MOVES at the time and place you see on the left side-bar. As always, community classes are open to EVERYONE whether you have two left feet, never even moved to a groove before, or have been shakin' it for years!

After this first community class, we will be teaching choreographed hip hop and/or contemporary pieces. But we had to loosen you up first. ;)

** And for those interested, come on time to hear about officer positions & how to join the performing group, rEvolution.

rEvolution WON!

CONGRATULATIONS TO HIP HOP DANCE CLUB'S rEvolution for the fantastic win last night!

Join us TONIGHT for our last performance of the semester at Southern Ball.
The event is from 8pm to 12am in Hughes-Trigg Ballroom. rEvolution will be performing at 9:30pm. :)

2nd Semi-Annual HHDClinic

OMG! We're doing another one! This time, we're bringing instructors from SO REAL CRU and Brown Bag Special! Also, our very own rEvolution choreographers!

This will be 2 days of PURE FUN and DANCING!

$35 singles
$30/ea for groups of 5 or more

What the new members think

The second semester of HHDC has been off to a great start. We've had 3 awesome classes taught by Chris and Pat, and a host of new faces to join our rad club. Let's hear what they've got to say about their first experiences at HDDC:
